    Urulaikizhangu(Potato) Podimaas

    Urulaikizhangu(Potato) Podimaas is a very tasty poriyal variety and every children will love to eat this recipe

    Ingredients:
    Urulaikizhangu(Potato)4
    Green chilli2
    SaltTo Taste
    Chopped Ginger1 Teaspoon
    Curry LeavesFew
    Grated Coconut2 Teaspoon


    For Seasoning:
    Oil1 Teaspoon
    Mustard seeds1 Teaspoon
    Urdhal1 teaspoon

    Method:

    1. Put the Urulaikizhangu(Potato) in a pan and add water to cook it
    2. When one side of Urulaikizhangu(Potato) turns black color, turn it to other side
    3. Take a Urulaikizhangu(Potato) and using water try to peel the skin. When the skin is peeled, then this is the correct stage to remove the Urulaikizhangu(Potato) from flame
    4. Remove the Urulaikizhangu(Potato) from flame and allow it to cool
    5. Peel the skin of the cooked Urulaikizhangu(Potato) Podimaas and grate it
    6. Add the chopped green chilli, salt, ginger, coconut and mix it well without smashing it
    7. Heat the oil in the pan, add mustard seeds and when the mustard seeds begins to sputter add urdhal and fry till it becomes golden brown color
    8. Add the grated Urulaikizhangu(Potato) along with other ingredients and mix it well and keep it in flame for 2 mins.
    9. Remove from flame and take it in a bowl
    10. The delicious Urulaikizhangu(Potato) Podimas is ready to serve
