- Cut the Chapattis into small pieces and keep it aside
- Chop the vegetables & onions into smaller pieces and keep it aside
- Heat the oil in pan, and add the mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds begins to sputter, add the broken chilli and chopped onion and fry till onion turns transparent
- Now add the chopped vegetables and fry them till they are cooked completely
- To these cooked vegetables, add chapatti pieces and mix it well. Add the necessary salt and mix it well
- Now the delicious Chapatti upma is ready to serve hot.
