Carrot Chutney

Occassionally I used to make different types of chutney for the break fast. One such chutney is a carrot chutney. Its healthy, colorful chutney which goes very well with idly/dosa. Instead of making conventional coconut chutney, we add enrich it with carrot and make the chutney healthier and nutritional rich chutney.

I have never tried carrot chutney but seriously it looks so delicious. I'll give it a try.

Sounds good. Will try it out tonight for adai! One small doubt, will the dhaniya seeds' smell not stand out?

Hi Nivedita

We are frying the dhaniya seeds before grinding so the raw smell wont be there. But if you dont like the smell, you can reduce the quantity of dhaniya

I tried with small quantity od dhaniya seed and it tasted so well. My husband really enjoyed it! thank u so much mami! i am a big fan of all your recipes!

Super Carrot Chutney recipe, i'll try this tomorrow itself :-)

Do we add roasted peanuts? I am saving so many recipes from your site! Thank you:)

I like your recipes a lot. May I know the steel pan brand you are using in your recipe videos. Good, a steel pan is used instead of non stick ones.
