Coriander(Kothamalli) Chutney

Ingredients:

Coriander Leaves1 bunch
Green Chilli2
Tamarinda pinch
SaltTo taste
Mustard Seeds1 teaspoon
OilFor frying
Grated Coconut2 teaspoon

Method:
  • Remove the coriander leaves from the bunch and wash it completely
  • Add coriander leaves, chopped green chilli, tamarind, salt and grated coconut to mixer and grind it to a fine paste
  • Take the ground coriander chutney in a bowl
  • In a pan, heat the oil and add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds starts to sputter, remove from flame and add it to the ground chutney
  • The yummy coriander chutney is ready to serve with Dosa and Idly

Yummy chutney..love to eat with idli n dosa

I do kothamalli as well as pudhina chutney often, but I never get this color. Why so?
