|Mustard Seeds||1 teaspoon|
|Turmeric Powder||a pinch|
|Idly Flour||4 cups|
|Garam Masala (optional)||1/2 teaspoon|
- Finely chop the vegetables and keep it aside
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed and add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds starts to sputter, add the chopped green chillies and vegetables and fry for a while and then add water to cook the vegetables
- Add turmeric powder and salt and mix well and allow the vegetables to cook completely. Add Garam masala (optional) powder.
- Pour the idly batter in the idly plates and in the middle of each idly batter, add 1 teaspoon of cooked vegetables and cook it in pressure cooker and serve with milagai podi (gun powder) , chutneys and sambar
