I love these veggie idlis - Hungry for some right now!

Great Idea!

Thank You Mami for bringing so much variety and flavours to our table.....

I have a small suggestion. If you pour half the ladle of batter into the idli mould and steam it until half cooked, then remove and add the vegetable mixture and cover or top it with more batter and then steam again, you would have yummy vegetable sandwich idlis ready. Please try this variatiion and let me know. Thanks.

Hi Bhooma, Thanks for your comment and different the variation of vegetable idly. It looks absolutely yummy. Will certainly give a try and let you know.

Thank you for this idea mami. Inspired by this I tried a variation. Cut all these vegetables (instead of onion i used cabbage)into thin long strips, mix with salt and pepper powder and just add to batter and steam. It gives a nice, crispy feeling and tasted very good.
