Another Variety of Dosai. This will attract the children because of its yummy taste and color. Many children dislikes Carrot which is a healthy vegetable rich in Vitamin A. This is an alternate route to feed them.



Carrot Dosai
Ingredients:
Raw Rice 1 cup
Parboiled rice1/4 Cup
Grated carrot3/4 Cup
Pepper1 teaspoon
Sour Curd1/2 Cup
Cumin seedsteaspoon
SaltTo Taste

Method:
  • Soak the raw rice and parboiled rice in water for 30mins. After 30mins rinse the rice and drain the water
  • Add this to a mixer along with grated carrot, pepper and salt and grind it to a paste like dosa flour
  • Take the ground flour and add sour curd. Season the cumin seeds and add this to the batter
  • Now the carrot dosa batter is ready to prepare delicious dosas
  • Heat the thawa and pour little batter and spread evenely and make it thin and roast the dosa on both the sides and then prepare the remaining dosas in the same manner
  • Serve the carrot dosa with variety of chutneys and sambar
