Paneer Sandwich is an easy breakfast and lunch box dish. Especially kids will enjoy this yummy sandwich. We are adding many vegetables along with paneer and making it healthier and tastier. When eaten hot, it will be crispy and more tasty.

Ingredients:

Whole wheat bread8 slices
Onion1
Carrot1
Tomato
Paneer1/4 Cup**
Pepper Powder1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder1/4 teaspoon
Coriander Powder1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Powder1/4 teaspoon
Green Chutney2 tablespoon
SaltTo Taste
Oil2 teaspoon

* 1 Cup Capacity = 250ml

** Green Chutney is optional, we are using it as a bread spread. You can also substitute with Peanut Butter, tomato ketchup or homemade tomato chutney

Method:
  1. Chop the onions and tomatoes. Wash, peel and grate the carrot. I have used the store bought paneer cubes. We can use the paneer cubes as such or we can also grate it. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions along with a pinch of salt. Saute the onions till they turn golden brown color

  2. Add chopped tomato, grated carrot and stir-fry till the tomatoes and carrots are cooked. Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, coriander and cumin powder and mix well. Add the paneer cubes and mix well. Adjust the salt. Now our Paneer filling is ready. Remove from flame

  3. Take 2  bread slices and chop their edges. Spread the green chutney on both the slices. Add 2 teaspoon of paneer filling on one slice of bread. Cover that bread with other slice with their green chutney spread facing down. Place the bread in the sandwich maker and toast it. 

  4. The crispy Paneer Sandwich is now ready to serve hot with tomato ketchup or any dipping.
