Method:
  1. First, dry roast the besan till you get a nice aroma and then set that aside
  2. Bring 2 cups of water to boil. Add spinach leaves along with 1/2 teaspoon salt and switch off the flame. Let the spinach sit in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Drain the water and add leaves to bowl having ice cubes. This will stop the cooking process. Set this aside
  4. Take a mixing bowl. Mash the spinach and add it to mixing bowl. Grate potatoes and add it to mixing bowl
  5. To this now add chaat powder, ginger-greenchilli paste, garam masala, pepper powder, salt, besan, green peas and mix everything thoroughly. You can use a potato masher to mash everything nicely. Coriander leaves add a nice flavor to the dish, I was running out of stock of leaves thats the reason i did not add. You can add 1/2 Cup of coriander leaves also
  6. Make lemon size balls, press and shape it to patti. Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying the kebab patties
