Nice recepie. But we cannot guess the guests, so how can we get the soaked chana dal.. So the preparation time is increased to 1hr 35min. I can be wrong also
Hi, soaked channa dal is only for additional taste. we can add channa dal with the other seasoned ingredients without soaking too,
You could also soak the channa dal quickly, but putting it in a thermos with hot water for 10 minutes. By the time you are done dry roasting the dry ingredients it will be ready.
Very nice recipe.. tried it today… superb thank u so much sowmya

Nice recipe. Do we need to use instants oats? Can we do with old fashioned oats as well?
Thanks. Hi, we can use the old fashioned oats also.
I dont use wheat rawa – is there way to avoid wheat and semolina?
You can use rice instead of rawa. Or you can also use idli dosa batter and mix with oats powder.
Can we use Idli rava???
We can use idli rava also. If it is very coarse we can grind it with oats
