- 0.5 cup Horsegram / Kollu
For Grinding
- 1 finely Onion Chopped
- Cinnamon (Pattai) 1" Piece
- Cloves (Krambu / Lavang) 2-3
- Red Chili 4-5
- 0.5 cup Grated Coconut
- 0.5 cup Coriander Leaves
Other Ingredients
- 1 finely Tomato Chopped
- French Beans 10-15
- 1 cubed Potato
- Salt To Taste
- Coriander Leaves For Garnishing
For Seasoning
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
Sprouting Process
Wash and Soak the Horsegram for about 4 hours. After 4 hours, drain the water and take the wet horsegram in a clean towel and make a potli. Or you can take the wet horsegram and store it in air-tight container. Keep the potli or container in a warm place
In regular intervals open and sprinkle some water and again close it till all the horsegram is completely sprouted. It will take atleast a day or two for the horsegram to sprout completely.
Grinding Masala
In a mixer jar, add chopped onions, cinnamon, cloves, red chili, grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves and grind it to a smooth paste and set it aside
