Mixing Bowl
Heavy Bottomed Pan
- 3 Big Bitter Gourd or we can take 6-8 small Bitter Gourd
- 2 nos Onion Finely Chopped
- 2 nos Tomato Roughly Chopped
- 1 nos Potato Peeled, Cubed
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam Masala
- ½ nos Lemon
- 2 teaspoon Grated Coconut
- 2 teaspoon Salt Adjust as needed
- 3 tablespoon Oil
Tempering
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 2 nos Green Chili Slit
Preparing Masala
Add chopped onions along with a pinch of salt and saute the onions till they are transparent.
Then, add the tomatoes and saute till they are mushy.
Add chopped potato to the pan. Add water to cook the potatoes
Finishing Masala
Cover the pan with a lid and keep the flame in medium to cook the potatoes.
When the potatoes are cooked, add fried bittergourd to the pan and mix well.
Then add garam masala, salt and grated coconut and mix well and switch off the flame.
