- 1 cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 0.75 cup Sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
- Salt a Pinch
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 tablespoon Orange Zest
- 0.25 cup Curd (Plain Yogurt)
- 0.25 cup Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
Preparing Dry Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, sift together maida, wheat flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Set it aside.
Preparing Wet Ingredients
In another mixing bowl, combine oil, orange juice, yogurt, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Mix well, then add sugar and beat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Mix Dry & Wet Ingredients
Cool, Cut & Serve!
Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes. Gently loosen the edges, then flip the tin and tap lightly to release the cake. Allow the cake to cool completely before sprinkling powdered sugar on top. Slice into pieces and serve!
