Carrot Halwa Ladoo and Candy

While googleing the presentation of the Carrot Halwa, I saw the nice and creative presentation by Manju's Eating delight and hooked by her idea. Here you go, an yummy dessert in a stunning presentaiton  Carrot Halwa Ladoo and Carrot Halwa Candy

Ingredients:
Carrot Halwa ½ Cup
Dry grated Coconut ¼ Cup
Mini cupcake liners or decorative liner 10

Method:

  1. Take carrot halwa in a bowl. Take small quantity of carrot halwa in hand and make small ladoos as shown in the picture
  2. Gently drop the rolled carrot halwa ladoo in the dry grated coconut kept in a bowl and coat it with coconut
  3. Place the coconut coated carrot halwa ladoo in decorative liners
  4. The scrumptious Carrot Halwa Coconut Ladoo is now ready to Serve!!!

Ingredients:
Carrot Halwa ½ Cup
Wilton Candy Melt  1 Packet white and 1 packet dark cocoa
Candy Mould 1

You can get the Wilton Candy Melt in the shops selling bakery ingredients and accessories or the craft shops. You can also order it from Amazon from the following link  Wilton Candy Melt 
Method:
  1. Take ¼th of the wiltson candy melt in a microwave safe bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave and select the defrost setting and start the microwave with 1 minute setting. After a minute, take the bowl out of the microwave and stir the candy melt with a spoon and then keep again in microwave for 30 seconds. Stop the microwave and stir the candy melt at 30 seconds interval till we get a smooth melted candy. 
  2. Take the mould and usinga spoon or pastry brush coat the mould with the melted candy. Refrigerate the mould for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes take out the mould from refrigerator and you can see the cating would have been hardened. Fill the mould with the carrot halwa till the brim of the mould and press it nicely leaving some space for the candy melt. Put the mould again in the fridge for 5 minutes. The carrot halwa filling need to be firm before we coat the opening with candy melt again
  3. After 5 minutes, remove the mould from fridge and again coat the brim of the mould with the candy melt. If the candy melt is hard by now, then remelt the same in microwave again for 30 seconds an then coat the mould 
  4. Again keep the mould in fridge for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the candy would have been hardened. Gently squeeze the mould to remove the candies from the mould. 
  5. Place the candies in serving plate and refrigerate till we serve. 
  6. The delicious Carrot Halwa Candy is ready to Serve!!!
