Thalicha Sambar is one of the unique, easy and quick version of the Sambar. Sambar is one of the most popular staple food in Southern India, especially in Tamil Nadu. We usually prepare sambar using  Sambar powder  or  with fresh ground masala (arachu vitta sambar). In Thalicha sambar, we don’t use sambar powder or prepare sambar masala. Green chili and Red chili are tempered and thats the spice for the sambar. Though we don’t have coriander flavor in this sambar, the tempered chiles give a nice unique flavor to the sambar.
