Raw Banana and Potato are two commonly made poriyal in most our SouthIndian kitchen, especially in Tamilnadu. We can make lot of different recipes with Raw Banana. Most of like Roasting raw banana with lots of spices and make it like Vazhakkai Varuval. Varuval tastes awesome with most of the main courses like Rasam, Kuzhambu, rice varieties like Tamarind rice, Lemon rice or just with plain Curd Rice too. But Varuval needs more oil than this simple Vazhakkai Poriyal.
