Tips for making Dharwad Peda:

  • Using Homemade Paneer obviously has lots of moisture which helps to get the perfect texture. Store bought paneer will become dry very soon. Thats why we need to add more milk to cook it longer.
  • The paneer and sugar mixture should be crispy to get a smooth powder in mixer grinder.
  • Add milk in regular intervals and cook the Paneer paste till the peda mixture becomes thick and roll likes a ball without sticking to sides of pan.
  • Unsweetened khoya enhances the flavor but we can just make peda with paneer alone.
  • Coat the rolled peda with crystal sugar.
