Banana is one tree that is edible right from the stem to the flower. We can make many delicious recipes with Plantain Stem, Banana flower, raw banana and ripe banana. Finally South Indians use Banana leaf to serve the food. Banana Tree always amazes me!  Now, coming to this Vazhaithandu Juice, a very refreshing and healthy juice packed with lots of nutrients.

Banana Stem Benefits:

There are various important nutrients present in the banana stem.

  1. Rich in Fiber: Banana stem contains ample amount of fiber, which can prevent constipation and ulcer.
  2. Detoxification and Digestion: The juice of the banana stem helps in flushing out toxins from the body. It is a diuretic, and one of the most effective ways to cleanse your system from ailments.
  3. Helps in Weight Loss: Consumed with fibre, banana stem slows down the release of sugar and fats stored in the body’s cells. It also improves metabolism, and contains very few calories
  4. Managing cholesterol and blood pressure: Rich in Vitamin B6, it has a lot of iron and increases the haemoglobin count. It is enriched with potassium as well, and is effective to treat cholesterol and high blood pressure.
