Paneer Pakoda Recipe |
Ingredients:
Paneer | 150gms |
Onion | 1 |
Green Chilli | 2 |
Chopped Ginger | 1 teaspoon |
Chopped Coriander Leaves | 1 tabespoon |
Chopped Curry Leaves | 1 teaspoon |
Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan | 3 tablespoon |
Rice Four | 1.5 tabespoon |
Red Chilli Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Oil | For Frying |
Method:
- First lets get our paneer from refrigerator and soak it in warm water for couple of minutes, so that we could crumble it nicely. Finely chop the onions and take it in a bowl along with chopped ginger, coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chillies. Add the crumbled paneer to the mixing bowl and add salt and mix them all nicely
- Now add gram flour and rice four and mix them well so that they are coated nicely. Add red chilli powder to the pakoda mixture and mix well
- The moisture in the onions itself is enough for binding, but if you feel the flour is not coated nicely, then sprinkle little water to make it coat properly. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add 2 teaspoon of hot oil to the pakoda mixture and mix well. Then take the pakoda mixture and drop it in pieces in the oil. we don’t need to make it a ball or patti. Just drop it randomly.
- Deep fry the Paneer Pakoda in oil till they are crispy and turn golden brown colour. Take that out and place it in a paper towel to drain excess oil
- The crispy, crunchy and tasty Paneer Pakoda is now ready to serve with hot tea / coffee.
